Keegan Stanton-Meas

Hey! My name is Keegan Stanton-Meas. I am a Junior here at the University of New England. I am currently majoring in International Business with a minor in Communications. I am currently on track to graduate in the spring of 2022, however I plan on taking one class in the fall semester of 2023 so that I can use my extra year of eligibility to play Football. Not only am I involved in Football, I am also an RA, Orientation Leader, and a member of numerous clubs around campus.  I am someone who did not come from a very prosperous family, and I am actually a first generation college student. So for me, this handbook would have been extremely helpful in navigating the ins and outs of college life. I hope that whoever reads this can feel as though they are not alone in this transition process and that they understand that there are people out there who have experienced similar experiences and are more than willing to help with that adjustment process. I hope that the reader is able to gain a better understanding from students like us who were once in their shoes and who are sharing what we have learned and experienced first hand as a result. Thank you for taking the time to read this book, I wish you the best of luck! Make lots of memories, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes along the way because it is all apart of the learning process.
