Senior Jacob Audet

Jacob Audet, Senior (Class of 2021), Pre-Med major

There are so many resources around campus and you have access to every single one. Jacob Audet has found that there are endless places to seek help. First, he was able to find the safety and security has been a huge help about parking and other questions regarding parking on campus. “Safety and Security was always willing to answer and help guide students in the right direction even if they did not know the true answer, they were willing to find the right contact”. The next resources that he found extremely helpful was the Student Academic Success Center. They can help you with lots of classwork questions, homework tutoring, and they are a great resource that will teach you how to do well in college classes. Then as a first year student, we see that housing could be a strange new thing that you have not had to deal with and the housing office is great for when you have questions about that process and that can connect you with your RA and they are also a good asset that you can use when you have questions. The last resources that Jacob uses is the Academic Counseling and they help with picking classes as well as keeping people on track to help them graduate and they also can help you with your future plans after college. When he was looking to find these tools, the people that helped him find these were his first year Residential Advisor and people that were a part of his first-year orientation. These people were also a huge help to him because they were other people that he could go to for help and they were always willing to help.
